Stake 1.1 Pts Jerry Kelly -110 over Brian Gay @ 5dimes

Backing Kelly here for a number of reasons, most of all is his putting. After a lesson from fellow Wisconsinite Steve Stricker, Kelly has improved his putting dramatically moving from 105th in 2008 to 30th in 2009. His only appearance at Kapalua resulted in a 10th place finish at -20. He played well at the Shark Shootout as well and will gladly back hime over Gay who got hot for a month and a half seven months ago.

Stake 1.05 Lucas Glover -105 over Stewart Cink @ 5dimes

Very speculative play here but the US Open champion had a better year than Cink in 2009. Glover also won the PGA Grand Slam of Golf at a similar venue in Bermuda beating Cink by six strokes. In one effort at Kapalua Glover finished in 6th place, he obviously has a liking to this course.

Stake 1 Pt  Retief Goosen +110 over Geoff Ogilvy @ 5dimes

Simply opposing Ogilvy as he played some uninspired golf over the winter in Australia. Goosen played at Kapalua four years in a row from '02-'05 never finishing worse than 14th position and two top 5's. Besides Ogilvy's win a year ago he hadn't broken par in his previous two starts.

Stake 1.3 Pts Angel Cabrera -130 over Stewart Cink @ 5dimes

Cabrera should really enjoy this golf course as his driving will certainly give him an advantage at this long layout. A little more juice than I like to lay but I really do not expect too much from Stewart this week or this season.
