Has had two events back since his injury problems and done ok so hopefully the problems are behind him. Pops up in enough majors to suggest he could provide a trading opportunity here. Also seems to enjoy playing in California, chalking up a win, 2nd and 3rd in his last three starts in the golden state.

Out for a couple of months with a broken toe then hand injury but made an encouraging return at the St Jude closing with three 68's after an opening 72 to finish 15th. Before that injury he'd had 6 top tens from 9 starts this season.
3rd at the Pebble pro-am in 2009, 12th at the 2000 Pebble US Open and of course has two US Open titles to his name already so clearly is suited to the conditions of the event.
