1-1; -1.00pts  (system plays: 7-6-0)

No round 1 plays.

Round 2 play (4pts):

Chad Campbell to beat Brad De Jonge -125 @ 5Dimes  LOST by 3
It was a rather erratic first round by De Jonge. He had nine birdies in his 66, but also four bogeys as he finished the day 7th on the leaderboard, but ranked 97th in greens in regulation. His putter was certainly very hot yesterday, but given that he has failed to finish in the top-50 in any of his last six starts, his putter has easily turned cold in the past. Campbell is just one shot further back and looks set to continue his fine record on this course - he has finished 7th, 15th and 34th in the last three years.

[unofficial rd2 system plays: Points tb Stanley -135 (L); Johnson Z tb Byrd -124 (W); Teater tb Percy -145 (L)]

Round 3 play (2pts):

John Mallinger to beat Kris Blanks +100 @ Pinnacle and The Greek [also available @ 5Dimes and Carib]  TIED
It was always going to be difficult for Blanks after he opened with a 63 to take sole lead of this event on Thursday and he duely shot 71 to drop to 17th. Now six shots off the lead he may struggle to regain his form, so the favourite in this matchup should be Mallinger who has good momentum following his 68-65 so far this week and who dominates the head-to-head between these two players: 10-4-1 over the past 12 months.

Round 4 play (4pts):

Steve Stricker to beat Brendon De Jonge -163 @ SkyBet [available generally]  WON by 5
Backing one of the Tour's leading players to continue his mastery of the TPC Deere Run course. He already has the lowest (actual) scoring average on the Tour and his quest to win here for the third consecutive year will only extend his lead over the rest of the Tour in that category. He has never lost an event when he entered the final round with the sole lead and I do not expect him to do so this week, and particularly not to De Jonge who ranks 135th in final round scoring average and has a 0-10 h2h record against Stricker over the past 12 months.

[unofficial rd4 system plays: Johnson Z tb Wilson M -138 (W); Mathis tb Atwal -130 (L); Price tb Warren +100 (W); Johnson Z tb Marino -125 (W); Wilson D tb Percy -111 (L); Love tb Letzig -138 (W); Love tb Davis -108 (W); Wilson M tb Percy -125 (L); Stanley tb Reavie +100 (W); Davis tb Stanley -120 (L)]

NOTES

There will be only one play per round - my 'best bet' - and these will typically be 2pts and cover only '2-ball' matches rather than '3-ball' matches. Where my analysis points to a particular mismatch that is not reflected in the odds, higher stakes may be advised, up to a maximum of 6pts.

Note that '2pts' represents 'to win 2pt' if the player is odds-on (negative in moneyline terms or less than 2.0 in decimal odds) and represents '2pts staked' if the player is odds-against (positive in moneyline terms or at least 2.0 in decimal odds).
