results: 3-4-1 -4.09 pts Stake 4.4 pts Stewart Cink -110 over Robert Allenby (Pinnacle) push Cink has seemed off the map since winning the British Open two years ago but looking at his recent form, t12 at Bayhill and t11at the Transition, there is a strong possibility the Georgia resident and former collegiate player at Georgia Tech will continue this form to an event where he has had some success (a t3 in 2008 & a t10 in 2006). Meanwhile Allenbys best finish in 11 starts is a t22 with a bunch of MCs. In fact Cink leads Allenby in common starts at Augusta 7-3. Stake 4.28 pts Aaron Baddely -107 over Rickie Fowler (Pinnacle) loss I very much like opposing a debutant in this event as Augusta is unlike any other course. Not just the course, the atmosphere as well. I like Rickie and he will do well here in the future but not just yet. Badds was in the hunt a week ago and has already won this year, something Rickie has yet to do in his short career. Badds went 17th in 2008 and is back for the first time since then. He ditched the stack and tilt and is playing his best golf ever. The most important reasoning in this matchups is that Badds is a great putter. And on these greens it may be the most important club in the bag. Rickie is not too shabby with the flatstick but this is his first time seeing these mountanous greens. Stake 4pts Paul Casey +115 over Martin Kaymer (5dimes)win Yes Kaymer is not the same player when he missed the last three cuts here shooting +12 in those 6 rounds. Meanwhile casey has some splendid finishes at Augusta including a t6, t11 and t10. So he surely has the course form. Casey hasn't played since the transitions where he opened with a 64 but couldnt do anything the next three days finishing 37th. Kaymers last start was also the transitions where he finished t20. I'll take Casey at plus money. Stake 3.75 pts Steve Marino -125 over Ben Crane (paddypower) win Yes Marino succumbs to the pressure every Sunday it seems but that goes to show how good he is that he puts himself in contention so many times. At Bay Hill he doubled the 17th but then stepped up and birdied the hardest hole on the course, the 18th. He was unfortunate with his lie in the bunker. So that shows be he may be ready to come through the next time a la Dustin Johnson winning in Chicago after the misery at Whistling Straits. As far as Augusta goes Marino debuted last year and went t14. Crane has cooled down since he played so well in the beginning of the year and pulled out of doral due to injury. Crane has two MCs and a t24 last year. Stake 3.3 pts Robert Karlsson -110 over Ross Fisher (pinnacle) loss Fisher has two starts here a t30 and a MC. Karlsson has played four times that include a t8 in 2008. The dilemma with Fisher is that his wife is due anyday now and may be called off the course if she is about to erupt. Even if that doesn't happen Karlsson is the better match for this venue Stake 4.11 pts Sergio Garcia -137 over Alvaro Quiros (extrabet)lloss Quiros has been dreadful at Augusta missing both cuts and shooting +15 in four rounds. Garcia seems to be on the comeback trail and even though his Augusta form isn't great it is much better than his fellow spaniard. If Garcia make the weekend this one should be over. Garcia shouldnt struggle with those short putts here as the greens are flawless, we'll see. Stake 3pts Ishikawa -150 over Tom Watson (extrabet) win Watson had missed seven straight cuts at Augusta until last years amazing finish at t18. But he is now another year older and that magic should be gone. Ishikawa missed his only two starts here but not by much and I have a feeling he plays this one for his country. Stake 2pts Anthony Kim +119 over Steve Stricker (pinnacle) Showed a bit of form last week in houston and he ripped the course apart last year on Sunday shooting 65 to finish solo 3rd. Stricker will make the cut but his game is still rusty as he says spending time back home in frigid Wisconsin when he is not playing tour events. The carpet in his basement won't help him on these greens this week
