RESULT: 0-7, -4.16 BACK Sergio Garcia to win 25pts @38 (i.e. stake 0.68pts) You can never be too sure what you're going to get with Sergio and he still seems to get down on himself a lot, but this is the course where he recorded his first ever victory in the US so he should have some positive vibes to help him along. BACK Ryan Palmer to win 75pts @70 (i.e. stake 1.09pts) The is Palmer's home course. His caddy is a two-time club champion here. Course knowledge is not going to be a problem. In his 3 wins he has shown an ability to take chances when they come his way better than most and outside of the majors this is the event he really wants to win. BACK Kyle Stanley to win 75pts @110 (i.e. stake 0.69pts) Kyle Stanley has gone off the boil a bit after his incredible disaster-redemption start to the season but it can perhaps be partially put down to the switch to the east coast and bermuda greens. back on bentgrass this week, on course he's done ok on in his 2 visits. BACK Gary Woodland to win 75pts @150 (i.e. stake 0.5pts) Woodland is showing signs of getting his game back after some swing changes and injury problems. Closed with a 66 last week - like Stanley he is a player for whom a big future is expected. BACK Henrik Stenson to win 75pts @130 (i.e. stake 0.58pts) Stenson is even more erratic than Garcia so a missed cut here would be no surprise. On the other hand if he does find his game there's no reason he couldn't win. BACK Chez Reavie to win 100pts @330 (i.e. stake 0.3pts) BACK Chris Kirk to win 100pts @310 (i.e. stake 0.32pts) Reavie and Kirk both have some course form with a 5th and a 15th last year. both have won before on tour and are worth a go at these prices. |
