The positives for the European team outweigh those for USA in my opinion making a 4 pt handicap too big to ignore. Current form and eight players with a positive RC record outweighs slightly the USA's home advantage and course set up. The reason I have chosen for playing the 10-3 scoring system rather than the Index or other options is that I believe there is a far greater chance of a European landslide than a US one. No US player has a >50% winning record in this event, the pressure is on them more so to win, being at home, and you can pick holes in the current form of a good number of their players. You would struggle to do that with any more than 2 of the European team.

This course will suit Bubba in shape, in the fact there is no rough and with him having one of the best Greens in regulation records in the field, so it will come down to putting and nerve. In the last Ryder Cup he only won one point but improved dramatically in the Presidents Cup last year and a major triumph since then should add to his confidence. With no one in the market having a successful record in the Ryder Cup it may pay to look past those who have played many times before.

Had this match taken place yesterday then you would probably be looking at a price of around 1-3 for the English pair and although it's difficult to put a positive spin on the European team winning this match up, the previous record in this event of Mickelson points towards yesterday being a one off. Obviously a lot was down to his partner but Bradley suddenly hasn't become the greatest Ryder Cup player in history on the back of two good results in one day.
