It has been a strange year for Points, he has suffered a fair number of missed cuts, 13 from 26 starts. However, 1st, 2nd and 6th place finishes in three events have contributed to him being in the top 70 going into the 2nd last week of the Play Off season, that 6th coming at The Barclays in his second last start. There is no course form as this is a new course to the majority of the field and makes it difficult to justifty quotes of 5/1 on the favourite. Points' Fedex position sees him 21st going into this weeks event and it may be a case that he needs to put an effort in for all 72 holes if his place in the 30 for next week is under threat. |
