5.5pts Jason Day to beat Jason Dufner 10/11 coral Dufner enters this week still struggling to recapture his best form and with the added pressure of being defending champion. Aside from two top tens back in January in the Middle East the Duffmeister's season has been disappointing with just one top twenty finish since. There are no such doubts surrounding Day whose course record is outstanding and who has looked in really good nick so far in 2013 making every cut and registering four top ten finishes in the process. Having come out on top in 6 of his 8 mutual appearances this year including the last four on the trot Day looks a solid bet at 10/11.
5.5pts Jordan Spieth to beat Freddie Jacobson 10/11 coral Spieth's chances this week have been well documented and I'm anticipating a good showing in what will be the 19 year-old's third appearance at the Byron Nelson. With five of his eight rounds at Las Colinas in the 60's, playing on home turf and improving rapidly this looks a good opportunity for him to register a first PGA Tour victory. There are question marks about the Swede coming off a recent hip injury and with two missed cuts in four appearances here he looks worth taking on. |
