BACK Adam Scott to win 50pts @26 (i.e. stake 2pts)

BACK Rory McIlroy to win 25pts @25 (i.e. stake 1.04pts)

The last time we had a rain affected US Open where the USGA couldn't get the course to where they wanted it was Congressional, where McIlroy won at a canter. His form did seem to be nicely coming around for this week, up until the last couple of events. That is largely why he is this price and not half of it though. He is still talking positively and really can't be that far off clicking, if he does these conditions are right up his street.

Woods, Nicklaus, Player and Hogan are the last four players to win the Masters and US Open back to back. So it is a tough thing to do, but Adam Scott is fast becoming a regular fixture on major leaderboards. It didn't happen by accident either, he took the deliberate decision 3 years ago to structure his schedule entirely around being in ideal shape for each of the majors. It has worked very well and it would be no surprise to see him contend yet again here, and having finally got one under his belt he's not going to be over-awed by it.
