6-3; +14.00pts (system plays: 1-3-2) Round 1 plays (2pts): Pat Perez to beat Ross Fisher -120 @ 5Dimes LOST by 8 Perez has a top-20 finish on this course whereas Fisher is making his debut and Perez has two top-10 finishes in his last five starts whereas Fisher has been jumping between the PGA and European Tour but hasn't recorded a top-10 finish in either for some time. On that basis, I'll side with PP to shoot a lower rd1 score than Fisher for the eighth time in ten common events this year. Brendan Steele to beat Brian Davis -120 @ 5Dimes LOST by 1 With a top-5 finish in the Reno-Tahoe Open last time out, Steele is safely in the Playoffs and I think that he'll continue with enough momentum to beat Davis who has missed his last two cuts and finished a lowly 135th last year when he returned to Sedgefield after a two-year absence. Round 2 plays (4pts): Robert Garrigus to beat Nick Watney -125 @ William Hill TIED Jerry Kelly to beat Daniel Summerhays -111 @ Bet365 WON by 2 David Toms to beat Stuart Appleby -120 @ Stan James WON by 4 [unofficial rd2 system plays: Weekley tb Bae -145 (W); Kaymer tb Choi -120 (T)] Round 3 plays (4pts): Jordan Spieth to beat Ross Fisher -130 @ 5Dimes and The Greek [also available @ Carib] WON by 4 Zach Johnson to beat Hideki Matsuyama -120 @ Stan James WON by 5 Zach Johnson to beat Sergio Garcia -115 @ The Greek [also available @ 5Dimes and Carib] WON by 4 [unofficial rd3 system plays: Haas tb Matsuyama -130 (T); Haas tb Garcia -125 (L)] Round 4 plays (4pts): Zach Johnson to Jordan Spieth -135 @ 5Dimes and The Greek [also available @ Bet365, Stan James, Carib] LOST by 3 Hideki Matsuyama to beat Bryce Molder -155 @ 5Dimes and The Greek [also available @ Carib] WON by 1 Robert Garrigus to beat Bob Estes -110 @ 5Dimes and The Greek [also available @ Stan James, Carib] TIED [unofficial rd4 system plays: Garrigus tb Every -133 (L); Park tb Gonzales -125 (L)] |
NOTES
* UPDATE: 18th September 2012 *
Following the dramatic reversal in the performance of my
18-hole tips over the last two months, there will be a change in my posting
policy:
There will now be posted up to a maximum of five plays per round,
but only for the PGA, European, Champions, LPGA and Nationwide Tours.
This does include co-sanctioned events by these Tours.
As before, these plays will typically be 2pts and cover only '2-ball'
matches rather than '3-ball' matches. Where my analysis points to a
particular mismatch that is not reflected in the odds, higher stakes may be
advised, up to a maximum of 6pts.
Note that '2pts' represents 'to win
2pt' if the player is odds-on (negative in moneyline terms or less than 2.0 in decimal odds) and represents
'2pts staked' if the player is odds-against (positive in moneyline terms or at least 2.0 in decimal odds).
