1pt ew Stuart Appleby @ 66/1 General Appleby has been in something of a slump in the last few years, but there have been signs this season that he may be close to getting competitive again. He shot 68-64 at the weekend at the Travelers Championship recently and even though he missed the cut at the Canadian Open last week he still shot a fine 66 in the second round. His consistent weakness is his lack of driving distance, but that will be less of a factor this week, with the course being one mile above sea level. Proof of this is three top 20 finishes in his only three attempts at this tournament in the last four years. He is arguably in much better overall form now, so could certainly contend this week.
