PHIL MICKELSON to BEAT TIGER WOODS over 72 holes 3 points at 13/10 (Ties included) at Spreadex

A tough week. After much deliberation I have advised small stakes on Lefty to beat Tiger. There are too many imponderables to fit on this one page about both players, but I am pushing for Lefty with the following 'pro-Mickelson' bullet points in my mind :

• In the 8 years it has been at the PGA National, it has proved to be a stern test for the players. Playing conditions are similar to a Major layout, punishing players who are out of form.
• It is a par 70 course, Tiger always seems to underperform when he has not got four par 5's to attack.
• Lefty has had a shocker with his putter so far this year. However, his GiR stats are decent, and with a score only a few under par winning this tournament, accuracy off the tee and into the green will be  key to winning this match. Scrambling will be a pre-requisite too this week, an area, at present, I would pick Mickelson over Woods all day long.
