* For a third successive year, Furyk has used Pebble Beach as a season opening warm-up before arriving in Riviera * In 2012 his form was 40th in the AT&T followed by 11th here, in 2013 it was 30th AT&T then 13th here * He was T35 at Pebble Beach this year and looks primed for improvement * Based on my models, I expected Furyk to be quoted around the 33 mark

* Olesen may have opened his campaign well in the Middle East but his R1 form on the PGA Tour is (with the exception of Bay Hill last year) poor * In contrast, Teater has experienced a difficult start to 2014 but should draw some encouragement from his 6th place finish here last season * Head-to-Head results are limited but put Teater ahead 11-5-1 over all rounds and 5-1-1 ahead based on opening rounds only * Based on my models, Teater should be a modest favourite in this matchup
