Going with 3 outsiders this week in a tournament where many of the market leaders may be more focused on next week's examination at Pinehurst. I was hoping for better odds on Swafford, however his perfomance in winning the US Open sectional qualifying in impressive fashion on Monday at nearby Cordova GC is worth noting as is the fact that he's very good friends with defending champion Harris English. He should be highly motivated this week to put in a strong performance. Stefani had this tournament in his grasp last year when leading going into the final round and will be lookking to make amends coming off a solid effort at the Byron Nelson. Finally Kisner is also worth perservering with as he has a decent record at Southwind and is coming into the tournament this year a much more confident player than in the past.
