1pt ew Steve Stricker @ 66/1 Paddy Power (6 places) Stricker is on a much-reduced schedule these days, but it doesn't seem to have affected the quality of his play as shown by his 13th and 6th place finishes in his last two events. A US Open test is right up his street and he has 8 top 20 finishes in the last 14 years. One of the best of those finishes was at Pinehurst back in 1999 and while the course may have changed in length since then, the emphasis on scrambling and putting should still play to Stricker's strength. 0.5pts ew Ryan Moore @ 100/1 General (6 places) Moore played pretty well as an amateur at the last Pinehurst US Open and has continued to show a liking for the type of test that Donald Ross designed courses present. He can blow a bit hot and cold, but three PGA tour wins testify that he can get the job done on a going week.
