Round 2 plays (4pts):

John Senden to beat Rory Sabbatini -110 @ Pinnacle [also available @ 5DimesStan JamesThe Greek and Carib]  WON by 2
Backing Senden in this matchup again despite losing by a shot yesterday. He is in much better form having finished 8th in the The Masters and winning the Valspar Championship last month, plus he has five top-50 finishes in six appearances here (including two top-15s), whereas Sabbatini has just one top-50 finish in four previous visits to TPC Louisiana.

Rickie Fowler to beat Billy Horschel -110 @ Stan James  LOST by 2
Fowler is another player in good form with 6th in the Houston Open and 5th in The Masters prior to this event and his record here reads 26th-10th-32nd, so it is a surprise to see him in 133rd place after rd1. However, he is still only four shots off the cut line and in four of the last five times that he has been outside the top-100 after rd1, he has shot 70 or better in rd2. Horschel has done it just once in the last five times that he has been outside the top-100 and given the form that he has shown since February, it appears very unlikely that he will do so today.

Rickie Fowler to beat Patrick Reed -115 @ Pinnacle [also available @ 5Dimes and Carib]  WON by 4
Reed, like Fowler and Horschel, starts today's round outside the top-100, but unlike Fowler, he deserves that leaderboard position on the basis of his ball-striking yesterday - he ranks 138th in greens in regulation. He missed the cut last year when failing to break par in any round and since winning the Cadillac Championship, his best finish is 48th. That doesn't point to a strong bounceback today.

[unofficial rd2 system plays: Knox tb Horschel +100 (L)]

No round 3 plays.

No round 4 plays.

NOTES

* UPDATE: 18th September 2012 *

Following the dramatic reversal in the performance of my 18-hole tips over the last two months, there will be a change in my posting policy:

There will now be posted up to a maximum of five plays per round, but only for the PGA, European, Champions, LPGA and Nationwide Tours. This does include co-sanctioned events by these Tours.

As before, these plays will typically be 2pts and cover only '2-ball' matches rather than '3-ball' matches. Where my analysis points to a particular mismatch that is not reflected in the odds, higher stakes may be advised, up to a maximum of 6pts.

Note that '2pts' represents 'to win 2pt' if the player is odds-on (negative in moneyline terms or less than 2.0 in decimal odds) and represents '2pts staked' if the player is odds-against (positive in moneyline terms or at least 2.0 in decimal odds).
