A lot is made of the format of the Barracuda Championship given its stableford format, but I approach it the same as any low-socring week, and a hot putter will be absolutely essential. That's not to say that rookie Austin Cook's all-round game isn't in great shape, so he rates a value bet to beat Brendan Steele. I was slighty surprised to see Steele rock up in France and Scotland in search of an Open spot, and though his 30th-placed finish in the Quicken Loans back on US soil was a sound-enough effort,  a brace of Top 10s from Cook in recent weeks was far more impressive. Austin is right up there on the US Tour putting stats for the past 3 weeks, so he gets the verdict at generous odds when you consider their proximity i the outright market.

6 pts Austin Cook to beat Brendan Steele at 27/20 dnb with FiveDimes.

Sticking with the putting stats, J.J.Henry is really struggling on the greens this season (ranks 197th on all-round putting rankings in the last 3 months) and though he's a previous winner of the Reno-Tahoe in 2012, he's worth opposing for match-bet purposes on low-scoring (or high point totals this week) tracks. John Huh is hardly prolific with the flat stick either, but with match bets this on the ground with attention elsewhere this week, he has to be the call

4.5 pts John Huh to beat J.J.Henry at 5/6 dnb with skybet.
