1.5pts ew Tony Finau @ 50/1 Stan James 0.75pts ew Martin Laird @ 100/1 Coral Finau was on a great run of form until narrowly missing the cut at the John Deere Classic. He took a much-needed week off last week and with the batteries recharged I can see him going very close here. The par 72 set-up with its four par fives should suit him and he will certainly feel at home in Canada as he spent a year on the Canadian Tour in 2013, before moving onto the Web.com tour in 2014. Laird looked like he was running into form when shooting 70-67-67-67 for 15th at the Travelers at the end of June. On his only outing since he missed the cut at the Scottish Open, but that was no surprise for a player who has never shown much form on links courses. He has two really solid performances to his credit at Glen Abbey finishing 22nd and 16th back in 2008 and 2009. Since then he has won three times on the PGA Tour and his turn may be close again now.
