1.5pts ew Scott Piercy @ 66/1 Coral I was surprised to see Piercy as big as 66/1 this week after his fine 2md place finish at the Sony Open. The only possible reason is that he has missed his last three cuts here, but prior to that he had a solid 19th place finish when the tournament was still played over five rounds. Though Piercy is generally an inconsistent player, his good form seems to come in patches. He has two wins on the PGA Tour and both have come quickly after another solid performance. In 2011, he won the Reno-Tahoe Open just two weeks after a 6th place finsh in the Canadian Open, and he then won the 2012 Canadian Open on his first outing after a 2nd place finish in the John Deers Classic.
