Romero had back-to-back top-3 finishes in 2012-13, but he is far from that player now - he has missed the cut in each of his last five starts (including two on the Web.com Tour), so can't be as competitive as a 140-shot should be
Duke is in better form, having finished 9th in the St Jude Classic, bur it is difficult to justify double-digit odds for a player who has only two top-30 finishes this season
Merrick is playing this season only via his Past Champion status and can't be considered to be competitive this week - his last top-10 finish on the PGA Tour was three years ago
Prugh has played in nine previous PGA Tour events this season and has missed the cut in eight of them - he is easily opposed at this price on that basis
A 7th place finish for Flesch last year was certainly a suprise - it is his only top-10 finish in any event since 2011 - and without a top-50 finish in six starts this year, a repeat of last year's form looks very unlikely |
