Top amateur Jon Rahm will probably be winning on the PGA tour sooner rather than later, but as is often the case with newly-tuned pro's, he will be prone to spikes in form as he learns the mannerisms of each course. That makes him opposable in match bets pitched in against established opponents, and Chris Kirk looks a value even money shot this week. Kirk played well at Glen Abbey in 2013 and struck the ball a lot better than 21st suggests at Bridgestone. True he narrowly missed the cut at the Open (Rahm just snuck in) but that will have given him a bit of extra time to fly back and focus on this.
6 pts Chris Kirk to beat Jon Rahm at evs (dnb) with Five Dimes. |
