7-0; +1.07pts Pre-tournament plays: LAY 20pts liability Bryson DeChambeau 80 4th Si-Woo Kim 210 14th Aaron Baddeley 210 9th Will Mackenzie 290 59th Kyle Reifers 170 mc Graeme McDowell 70 mc K.J. Choi 130 mc This will be DeChambeau's first start as a professional and after the week that he had at The Masters, this will be an exhausting affair; together with this event being a traditional-type course, I wouldn't price him this low to win Kim is a Web.com Tour graduate and has had an exhausting schedule so far - 15 events this season, with only three players on 16 who have played more times - but he has just one top-30 finish in his last seven starts and no course experience at Hilton HeadBaddeley does have course experience - he won here in 2006 - but he has finished mc-42nd-mc-66th in the last four years and given that he hasn't had a top-3 finish in any event since 2011, he can be easilyopposed in win markets Mackenzie has shown improved form in recent weeks, but still sits outside the top-125 in the FedEx Cup rankings despite playing 14 events; together with a poor course history - no top-30 finish in six attempts - I can't see him moving up the FedEx Cup standings this week Reifers is another journeyman pro who plays in a lot of events - 15 starts this season - and he secured his first top-10 finish of the year last time out, but he has never played in this event previously so that lack of course experience will be important on this particular course Opposing another former winner of this event - McDowell won via playoff three years ago - but he hasn't survived a cut since February, so I don't see him as being in the top-15 in the market Choi's form has dropped significantly since the Tour left the West Coast - 62nd-36th-mc - and with a best finish of 18th in this event, he is another who looks very unlikely to win this event |
