5-7; -13.57pts

Pre-tournament plays:

LAY 20pts liability

Dustin Johnson 15  1st
Rickie Fowler 16.5  20th
Jon Rahm 38  3rd
A tree-lined course isn't normally a good fit for these three afternoon-start players, even with the total yardage before over 7,300 yards, so Johnson looks opposable for the course setup as well as his indifferent form at the moment
Fowler's form is much better with seven top-5 finishes this year, but there has been only one win and this course is set up better for other players
The course is definitely not set up well for Rahm who won the Irish Open at the start of July, but has shown little form since then

Pre-rd3 plays:

BACK 1pt

Matt Kuchar 15.5  10th
Justin Rose 25  10th
Jhonattan Vegas 28  3rd
Bubba Watson 29  10th
Paul Casey 40  5th
Russell Henley 60
Kuchar isn't known for converting his chances, but he is in very good form and only one shot off the lead
Rose is a shot further back, but there has been a big improvement in his game this week - he leads the field in strokes gained - approaches and strokes gained - tee-to-green - and he known as a player who converts chances to win
These is a large price on a player who has a share of the lead and even though this is a stellar top of the leaderboard, it is only four weeks since Vegas won the Canadian Open
Watson's driving and short game have been very good this week; if he can improve his approach play, it won't be long before the one-shot gap to the leaders is reversed
Back to a player in very good form, Casey is three shots off the pace, but that can be eradicated in a few holes in his current form
A shot closer is Henley at much bigger odds and it is only four months since he won the Houston Open

LAY 20pts liability

Jordan Spieth 4.7  2nd
Justin Thomas 30  6th
This is such a congested and high-quality leaderboard - there are three other players tied with Spieth in the lead - I wouldn't price him this low to convert with 36 holes to play
The same with Thomas who is playing in his first start since winning the PGA Championship - he is three shots back in 10th place and his ball-striking stats have been poor so far this week

Pre-rd4 play:

BACK 1pt

Dustin Johnson 5.5  1st
Spieth is 4-for-4 when leading by 3+ shots after 54 holes, but if anyone looks like catching him, it is Johnson. He has played far better than expected this week and certainly has the game and the persona to put Spieth under a lot of pressure today,
