Outright plays (2 units unless stated):

Gil Morgan to win 12/1 e.w. @ NetBetSports
Morgan has an excellent record in this event besides being a winner in 2000 and looks set to continue his improved form against a weak field this week. He has finished 3rd and 7th in his last two events and should at least match those performances this week.

Doug Tewell to win 20/1 e.w. @ Centrebet
Considerably higher odds than elsewhere, so can't be ignored, particularly with a player who has already won this season. 1st on Tour in driving accuracy and 2nd only to the absent Tom Kite in greens in regulation, Tewell looks a class player in this field. Importantly, does have course experience with a top-20 finish in 2000.

Gary McCord to win 20/1 e.w. @ Surrey or NetBetSports
The week's break should have done him good. After a very strong opening to the season, his finishing position worsened every week until the break. Happily, his course form reads the other way with all three finishes in the top-20 but he has improved each year to finish a high of 6th last year. Refreshed, he should contend this week.

Matchup play:

Jose Maria Canizares to beat Ben Crenshaw -120 @ Five Dimes [4 units]
Crenshaw has hardly made the Senior Tour debut other had hoped for him. His four starts have yielded finishes of 43rd, 64th, 32nd and 24th which is not particularly impressive in this company. Against a player who finished 4th on this course last year, his lack of course experience is decisive. Canizares played poorly in the cold, windy Toshiba Classic, but the two-week rest should benefit and he did finish 4th in the Audi Senior Classic only a month ago.

Final update:

Matchups: 0-0-1; +0.00 units

Canizares/Crenshaw LOST by 3 ... but NO ACTIONED by 5 Dimes because of their minimum 54-hole rule

Outrights: 1-2; +0.00 units

Morgan 31st
Tewell 2nd
McCord 64th

Bad weather cancelled the final round with the final pairing having just eight holes to complete. Meant the matchup was cancelled and a complete break-even event
