Matchup plays (2pts per play)

Brad Bryant to beat Dana Quigley -125 @ Expekt
Quigley may have won this event last year, but this season has been very different for the Iron Man of the Tour. His health problems and the medications prescribed have continued to cause him difficulties and in a total of nine common events, he has finished behind Bryant on all but one occasion ... and that was by a single stroke.

Morris Hatalsky to beat Jim Thorpe -111 @ Expekt
Did consider Hatalsky for the outrights at a decent price of 40/1, but happy to back him in the matchups instead. He has already won once this year and has five top-6 finishes in his last ten starts, which is quite a contrast to Thorpe who has just one top-10 finish since January.

Craig Stadler to beat Jim Thorpe -110 @ Pinnacle
There has been some recent evidence that Stadler is returning to some of his previous form. He has two top-3 finishes in his last five starts and was the star player at the halfway stage of the two-day Par-3 Shootout on Monday against Chris DiMarco, Fred Couples and Andy North. It's enough indication of a return to form and having finished ahead of Thorpe in four of their last six common events, there should be value in these odds.
