Van der Walt lives locally, scored a long awaited first victory in impressive fashion at the recent Cape Town Open and is one of relatively few in the field with competitive experience at Mount Edgecombe finishing a runner-up in a tight finish in the Mount Edgecombe Trophy back in 2007. At 60/1 and with jennings paying six places each-way he's definitely worth siding with this week.

Aside from his Avantha Masters win back in March, Aiken's year has been largely forgettable. The fact remains however that there are only a handful of players in the field with more than one European Tour victory to their name and Aiken is firmly in that category and he's only just turned 30. Hardly the most inconsistent operator he nevertheless knows how to win as 7 wins from his last 101 starts on home territory testifies. In a field lacking quality and depth Aiken is one of few genuinely class players and is worth adding at 28/1 again with the added benefit of an additional each-way place.
