Van Rooyen has played in 14 previous European Tour-sanctioned events and has a best finish of 10th; coming off a missed cut in the Cape Town Open, he looks not to be in sufficient form to improve on his previous best finish
Detry had a good season on the Challenge Tour earning the 15th of 16 European Tour Cards on offer, but this will be his first Tour event in South Africa and this will be a big step from the Challenge Tour
By comparison, Stal is vastly experienced at this level, but he has made just four cuts in 18 starts since April; with missed cuts in both previous visits to Leopard Creek, he looks very likely to miss the cut yet again
