Buy Justin Rose over Rory Sabbatini 18H R1 MB at 1 with Cantor Spreadfair for 0.25 Pts M/U 16, Profit 3.75 Pts Sabbatini is one of the world's best players but year after year he has struggled to show any sort of form in the state of Florida. His full record in this state is 3 Top 40 finishes in 25 starts and on this course he finished 70th in 1999 then ignored the course until it became a WGC event when he had to return. In it's first year as host to the CA Championship he finished 35th. His most recent form has tailed off a little after a good start to the year and he should be opposed in his R1 match with Rose. Rose hasn't done a great deal himself but in 21 starts in Florida has only missed 3 cuts and has finished Top 40 on thirteen occasions.
Buy Daniel Chopra over James Kingston 18H R1 MB at 4.5 with Cantor Spreadfair for 0.25 Pts M/U 16, Profit 2.73 Pts Kingston gets into this event on the qualification of South African tour money whereas Chopra is here on his two wins in the last 6 months on the biggest tour of all. Kingston comes into the event on the back of a missed cut in India but it's his first start in the US in 11 years so everything points to Chopra being an overriding favourite. 4.5 though doesn't seem to reflect the superiority that Chopra has on known stats and form.
Sell Phil Mickelson over Camilo Villegas 18H R1 MB at 6.5 with Cantor Spreadfair for 0.25 Pts M/U 22, Loss 3.88 Pts Interesting quirk here which shows that Villegas fires out of the blocks quicker than Mickelson generally. In 13 similar starts over 12 months, Mickelson has won 9 but Villegas led after R1 in 9 of those 13 starts. In the Deutsche Bank event in the play offs, whick Mickelson won, Villegas was 7 ahead after R1 and that's just a small example that suits the bet we have, which of course only applies to R1, and not their prospective chances in the tournament. Buy Nick O'Hern over Gregory Havret 18H R1 MB at 5 with IG Sport for 0.25 Pts M/U 13, Profit 2 Pts 69th and MC is the total sum of Havret's starts on US soil and his 2008 start shows no form at all. Therefore it is a little surprising to only have to pay 5pts to get with O'Hern who was 6th here last year and 13th in Phoenix a few weeks ago.
