Sell Phil Mickelson over Camilo Villegas R1 18H MB at 3 with Sporting Index for 0.5 Pts M/U 0, Profit 1.5 Pts Sell Phil Mickelson over Ernie Els R1 18H MB at 3 with Sporting Index for 0.5 Pts M/U 13, Loss 5 Pts Mickelson never finished outside the Top 8 from 96-2001 and was 4th last year but in the period between 2004 and 2007 never bettered 43rd. Els has 9 top 25s in 11 starts on the course and Villegas is a debutant but who is on a run of 10 consecutive Top 40s since the Masters. With Mickelson coming back from a long lay off he is priced too high for his first competitive round back.
Sell Stewart Cink over Nick O'Hern R1 18H MB at 5 with Sporting Index for 0.5 Pts M/U 19, Loss 7 Pts A win, a 2nd and one further top 10 in 7 starts suggests we shouldn't oppose Cink here but as a follower of him on Twitter, it does seem he has been on an extended holiday since Turnberry, and rightly so. O'Hern doesn't have a particularly good record here and I suspect Cink may finish ahead of him this week, but maybe not on Thursday.
Sell Geoff Ogilvy over Dustin Johnson R1 18H MB at 5 with Sporting Index for 0.5 Pts M/U 13, Loss 4 Pts Ogilvy has finished no better than 36th in 4 starts and although Johnson is a debutant, he should be considered here. Neither player is in particularly good form and in occasions like that I would always like to be with the player getting a start, especially one as high as 5. Sell Retief Goosen over Zach Johnson R1 18H MB at 3 with Sporting Index for 0.5 Pts M/U -22, Profit 12.5 Pts Goosen was 4th here last year but Johnson has finished in the top 20 3 times out of 5 and has a better scoring average on the course.
