We've mentioned a number of times already this season that it is only a matter of time before Job rewards backers and this week seems as good as any. His game has been consistently improving throughout the season culminating in a decent 7th place finish on his last start. In last years London Masters he was never out of the top 5 with three sub 70 rounds. Currently averaging around one place finish every five starts, a top-4 finish is well overdue. Between 20/1 and 25/1 would be my price.

An interesting selection at potentially interesting odds. During the second half of last season Cali competed in 12 events and acheived top 10 finishes in ten of them, a truly astounding effort. This season he has returned finishes of 31-mc-mc-40-48-29-51-17. Admittedly the two missed cuts were on the Challenge Tour and one of those finishes was on the Champions Tour, but the contrast is remarkable. Hence his odds have consistenly lengthened with almost every start to what is now very generous odds if he can recapture some of the sparkle of last season. Last week he finished 17th with rounds of 77-68-78 giving some hope of a return to form with that second round showing. Also he finished tied 6th here last season giving further hope of a possible recovery making these odds too tempting to ignore.
