After a highly respectable 14th in a very competitive field at the Wentworth Masters, Bland followed that up
with a 7th place finish at the Bad Ragaz. In that tournament, with a field of similar quality to this weeks line up,
he was 28/1 so I can't pass up this offer of 40's. Apart from his finishes in the 2003 and 2004 Senior Open
Bland has never finished outside the top fifteen in a Seniors Tour event and with a lot of the doubts surrounding
his fitness removed after his 2 recent finishes he has a decent chance at a very generous price, despite being in
his 60th year.

Almost gave us a payout last week when finishing seventh where he put in a decent opening round score for a
change, but a below average start to the second round left him with too much ground to make up. Not much
to add to last weeks write up but he's a decent player in very decent form at nice odds and he has the necessary
class to go close again.
