John Bland 0.75pts ew 28/1 @ Skybet
I'm reluctant to dismiss Bland after last weeks sterling performance and I still think he's value at this price. He is the
man in form with a highly respectable 14th at the Wentworth Masters, 7th place finish at the Bad Ragaz and then
last weeks 4th place finish. He has a great record on this tour and considering the form he is in I make him a 20/1
shot.
David Good 0.25pts ew 125/1 @ Skybet
Good has got a clear pattern in his form on this tour. His average FP broken down by month is July=31.8, August
=21.3, September=15.5, October onwards=11.6, calculated from an average of 20 starts per season. So his recent
improvement in form is encouraging and every indication points to that form getting better as the year progresses.
I wasn't expecting to be betting on Good this early but he the price is excellent value and can't be ignored.
Noel Ratcliffe 0.25pts ew 125/1 @ Skybet
Ratcliffe is a near impossible player to predict when he will win. His good finishes seem to appear from nowhere.
So despite his form this season being very poor a good showing can never be discounted. And where better than
the Dalmahoy course where he has excellent previous form; 10th in 2000 and victory here in 1998.
